I love it! I do think the styling is great, will miss that rumble though..... I have to agree that it does look very similar to the Evo X though! What I've seen so far gives me some hope for a possible upgrade here
I'd like to see the actual specs though, I'd love to see a bit more power increase but we'll see!
Very stoked on this one!

Now interested to see how much better the handling is with the torque vectoring. That and a nicer interior seem to be about it on paper. Hopefully there's a better steering feel over the GR.
But not about to rush to sell my 2011 with GTWorx Bilsteins for a launch edition copy.

Though i was hoping that the engine would be a brand new engine, I was more interested in hearing how the car would handle with the money that could've been put into the hatch into what they put into the development of the chassis and drivetrain. The chief engineer's claim of reducing the understeer while keeping the rear planted would be interesting to see. Perhaps the torque vectoring has something to do with it? I guess we'll see when the reviews come out.

Narrower headlights, designed to evoke a raptor’s stare, flank the Subaru hexagonal grille. It’s a more powerful stare thanks to new standard LED low-beam headlights.

there is a quick rack in the 2015
agreed
was really looking forward to a new 2.5 or highly modded 2.0. And the 305hp is a little disappointing to say the least
the price is a little steep for the performance numbers in my mind as well for 10-15K more I would like more then a 37HP bump and 32lbs more of torque.(no twin scroll turbo, no direct injection, no new motor
) The 6-speed is nice but you get that in the 2015 wrx now, so now only to upgrades on the trans is the diffs and dccd (in less you get the launch edition with the short-throw shifter). yeah the STI will have the brembo big brakes, bbs wheels with better tires, and better shock and spring setup. The only new thing handling wise is the quick rack steering. You still get a widebody which to me looks a lot better then the 2015 wrx out of the box. It was nice to see a little better looking more sporty interior. The Keyless start should have been standard on all STI not just the launch edition. I do like that the navigation is optional across the board since most of these suck anyways and subaru's is really outdated looking.
Just can't see my self spending the cash to run out and get one of these.

Wack wack wack! Why use the same 305 hp 2.5 engine Subaru has used for 10 years! I personal would go with the wrx and that amazing 2.0 buy some sti brembos now 5x114 on the wrx and call it a day. I love the fa in my forester
