2013 wrx rumors

2013 Subaru WRX

What you guys think, is it gonna be accurate? or they just taking shots in the dark. 2.0 liter at 270hp is pretty insane though.

2013 MY won't change. 2014 MY will be the update. Expect a concept at L.A. Auto Show this Fall.

I read a thread over on nasioc about a guy wanting to get a 2012 wrx. Dealer told him that they couldn't get any more 2012s but that he could order a '13, and that there are zero changes for the new MY.

Double clutch is not that bad. But Subaru is not dumb, and they wouldn't ditch the manual transmission for auto only. They know what the U.S. market wants... sometimes.

I think having that many changes, the ones edmunds claims, at the end of a chassis life cycle is a waste of money and you won't see any changes between 2012 and 2013 models. If there are changes, I will be surprised.

The 2.0L rumor will happen with the full redesign of the chassis and body. They want to differentiate the Impreza and WRX/STI line, so I am thinking it will be more performance oriented, which might mean it will be smaller, and more expensive. Just my two cents.

Magazines and blogs do this all the time to get more views on their site. I would definitely wait to see a concept version before making any huge assumptions.

we're halfway through the year and there are no press from subaru regarding the "new" wrx...I doubt that subaru will change the current version drastically for 2013

and besides, Subaru just released the 2013 wrx club spec in Australis and the 2013 STI spec c (4 door), as well as the 2013 STI A-line type S Package

generally dealers, especially salespeople dont know jack **** about new model years, so I wouldnt trust that and i definitely wouldn't order the next model year before it even comes out... that sounds silly.
