I think it's cool, it'd be a fun little car. There need to be more new RWD cars out there.

I don't know if it'll actually happen though. What's the Scion's gas mileage now? Boxer engines aren't known for good gas mileage.

i've always liked the looks of the tc but hated the demograph of ricers it seems to attract. with these changes im sure more performance enthusiasts will consider.. which in my book is GREAT!

 

Yea, now someone at Subaru should make an option for RWD STI's...

 

don't forget Honda has a boxer engine of their own. The H-6 in the Gold wing and it's a 2.5 horizontally opposed

 

Considering at its core, the subaru boxer is just a warmed over type 411 case, it is kinda funny.

 

I'll stick with my AWD turbo car.

 

they shouldn't name it the TC. The fwd TC should either stay the same or be stopped altogether. They should rename the rwd car to something else like Scion rC

 

Now, what I would give anything to get in the US, is a Ford Focus RS, 2.5 turbo motor, AWD, 3 door hatch....

yeah. i guess i meant more cars out there. i kinda think of subaru as being boxer + awd. at least subarus are the first thing that come to mind when i think "boxer". i guess it's not that big a deal, but eh. i thought i'd give my opinion on it

 

is this the rebirth of the 86? there's been so many damn rumors and pictures around the web of the new 86. as expected though, it had to be a scion.

 

In truth, VW was the first to do a AWD car also, 1938 saw a VW bug, that had AWD, it went all of 20mph, but it worked.
