well they are out, but like when the first Mitsu Lancers hit the shore a year before the full on EVO's did, kinda pointless.

small cars rule, until you realize that, auto makers will continue to make bigger and bigger cars.
Small, light cars are soooo much fun though - a good set of tires, an alignment and they are the most fun way to learn how to better use your momentum and be a better driver. I just got back from a ~26 mile drive in my '68 Mini - after that, getting in my wife's '09 Fit is like getting in a minivan. Small cars are the best, only issue is getting plowed into by big cars which are famous for containing distracted drivers... My daily driver weighs 2200 lbs, has something like 130hp if that and is one of my favorite cars to drive. The Mini is wicked fun but I always have this feelings I am going to hit a corner and send myself ****-ways into the scenery.
