2008 GT-R Testing at Infineon
Did anyone see this?
http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dl.../70226015/1040
Infinity/Nissan 2008 GT-R was test at Infineon. 500hp from the TTV6. I wonder what the laptimes will be. Maybe around 1:55 at Infineon, it should be very fast

I just read the Edmonds.com report:
"We're not sure how it all works, but it does work, as the GT-R consistently lapped quicker around Laguna Seca than its Porsche 911 Turbo companion. According to our hand-timed data, the GT-R's fastest lap proved to be a 1:39.62, while the 911 recorded a 1:39.89. Put Walter Rohl behind the wheel of the 911 and it might be a different story, but the GT-R clearly has the kind of power and grip to match up against the best sports cars in the world."
That's with 450hp in the article! From the pics above, the tires look like RE070s (stock STis). If that thing does 1:39s with RE070 with their driver (average driver maybe mid 1:40s) it'll beat a STi anyday, even in the wet. I can only do 1:50 in an all stock STi at LS. Trade in time
