hi all! I was looking around for a CHECK off list for mods but I could not really find one? I am pretty new to this site so maybe I do not know how to find it but anyways I want to work on my 2006 sti engine on my sedan but I do not know where to start... i know these builds take a while and you cannot always do all the mods at once... so i just wanted some advice on mods that i should put on in order.. currently all i have is invidia downpipe and stage 1 map. but i was thinking about buying a FMIC and my question on that is are all FMIC around 12-15 hundred? like perrin and aps FMIC? .. thanks !

i should probably point out that i am a pretty green mechanic on turbo cars.. and what i want is a pretty solid built STI monster that will thank me for the $$$$ and time spent on it.. if that makes anysense? thanks again!

b)fmic?wut.... go stage 2 aka full turboback with stage2 tune (extras: ex manifold, intake, tgvs)

c) whats a green mechanic?

Hey a new monterey member! Perrins FMIC go for around $800. If you just want a solid STi, get the FMIC if you want, but you dont really need it imo. Since you already have a downpipe, i say get a decent header or even port and polish your stock one. The main thing is to get a protune if you want reliability.
