at first i didnt like the front part of the 06, but the more i see the more i think it looks better. I have a bugeye and that what i thought about the 04-05, but now i think they are great looking. Nice find man. i cant wait to see it compete.

 

I was the same as you with the sentiment going from the bug-eyes to the 04-05s. And, like you, I grew to love the 04-05s. At first I didn't like the 06's new looks, but I've grown to love the new looks and this video sealed it.

I think psychology is heavily involved in how we adjust to the "new looks" on a lot of models. I would imagine that if the looks of the 06 were released back in 2004, and then the looks of the 04s were recently released as "06" models, the opinion would not be too different.

 

Damn, I was not a big fan of the new look....but now I have a change of heart. I kinda like it..hmmmm

i think the 06 is the best of the new age imprezas. gc8's are still #1 for me.
