You are still using the stock RS ignition cylinder, so buy a stock RS key... IF you buy the STi key blank it will require some filling/sanding to get it to work properly.

Yeah, I am sure there are places cheaper, that was just the first one I thought of. They aren't always the cheapest on stuff.

holy ****, you just made me realize that right now. the wrx/sti/lgt key blanks look much longer than the 97-01 impreza key. I knew I should have just used the WRX key cylinder.

I thought to myself at the time, to match the VIN of the car with the key cylinders since the dealership would cut my keys according to my registration papers.

Now it seems like I have to stick with the crappy RS key...
