That's pretty crazy, completely random and senseless too. We usually eat at the Japantown Denny's after the clubs, now looks like we'll wait and drive across the bridge and go eat in Oakland Chinatown where its safe. LOL

 

I'm thinking it was a crime of passion. His ex-girlfriend probably used to work at the bar.

 

you are correct, hes was looking for his ex, not sure if she worked there or not, shot 2 people in the bar, then left and the other random person was just walkin to his car!!!, the shooter said what are you lookin at and the guy ignored him cuz he thought it was a drunk or something and continued to go to his car and got shot in the head...

Yes, it happened right up the street from where we live. My gf used to work at that bar as a bartender so she knew the victims (the girls). what a tragedy it was..Immediately after we heard the news, my gf called the bar owner (The Flow) seeking for more info, and from what my gf told me.. the girls were just victims of this senseless crime. The suspect basically came inside the bar very disgruntled asking for a former employee (possibly ex-gf) but when they told him she no longer worked there, he just went off and shot the girl who was sitting at the bar in the head and shot the other bartender (whom my gf knew) in the leg.. as for other guy, was crittically wounded right outside of the bar, was pronounced dead today.

edited: the girl who died at the scene was chinese. 2nd victim (male) was in critical condition and died today.

 

what a horrible way to go. just chillin in a bar in a cool part of town with your buds. wtf... makes me sad.
