1983 Supra!
For all those folks wanting an inexpensive, powerful, RWD car - here you go! Shame it couldn't be registered here though. In all honesty it looks like a lot of fun. I am not a fan of the semi-trailing arm rear suspension in these cars, but still. I would drive this.

The smog thing where it relates to cars is just about the stupidest thing in the world when you consider things like military aircraft and such pumping crap into the sky. All this fuss about a classic car that gets driven a few miles a year, cars getting scrapped because you can't find a smog pump or that "CA-spec" carb any more. Even something like my 1991 Justy. So far in it's 23 years of life, to travel 88k miles, it has used less than half of the fuel capacity of a C-130.

Yep, exactly. When I first moved here, it was capped at 1968, but then moved to 1972. I had hopes that I would be able to finally not have to smog my 1980 Celica somewhere around 2008, but IIRC the Governator killed all of that, and there will no longer be a rolling smog excemption. Capped at 1975. So, I shipped it to Hawaii and sold it there.

It's annoying. But it's part of life. I really need to buy a home in Oregon.

Meh, only Celica worth having is one of these and I owned one red and one white, both at the same time. If I still had those things the red one would have a supercharged 3rz in it these days.

I'd totally rock that. Uber sleeper status. Sometimes it's a bummer to live in California hahaha.
I wonder if it could be registered in say... Humboldt or Lake County.
I don't know the smog laws here very well...
