Acer's are my favorite.. i sold them for 2 years to businesses and i saw maybe 5 returned.
you can get an acer that will our perform a sony/hp/toshiba etc etc for as cheap as a quarter the cost.. (mainly a quarter the cost of an overpriced POS sony laptop)

A MacBook can run Windows and Mac OS. The best of both worlds, literally.

Parallels for Mac OS to enable running windows inside Mac OS is pretty sweet (if you need that sort of thing).

A good laptop would more accurately determine the available amount of time left. Or maybe its the OS.

completely over priced for what you get man.. i mean you can find deals but for the most part you're paying way more than you should just because of the name..

when i sold computers they had sonys costing 3500 dollars for simple crap while there would be an acer or HP for so much less with better spec's

hers was about 2 G's from Best Buy, it was a pretty good deal from the looks of it and the others around it, it's really nice, sleek, has a pretty good amount of power, I've run photoshop on some big pics and some vids and stuff on premiere on it and it seems to be handling it just fine.

yeah you can find good deals but generally it seems sony wants an extra 500-1000 for their stuff just because their name is on it.

anyone know how to get the built in HP webcams to work??? Do you need to be hooked up to a web cam chat site?

Was hoping to make video e-mails to the family while the ship is on deployment.
