+1 for GST Motorsports (big surprise)
So this is kind of a long story so I will sum.
I recently had some parts installed and some work done and a new tune on MY05 STi. Well I thought I would save some money when I bought my used AVCR. Notsomuch. The solenoid is new (as I had to replace it) but the controller works sometimes controlling boost while other times is flies up to almost 1.8 bar or won't do a full bar at all! Mike did the best he could with the AVCR acting like Bobby and Whitney (on crack).
So here is the part where they go above and beyond for me. So MY USED PART that I didn't buy from them was screwing up my car/tune. Not only are they going to FIX my boost controller issues FOR PENNIES, they have offered to retune my car @ NO CHARGE. Now that is a stand up shop and the reason why I won't/don't go anywhere else. They could have told me to get f...ed because I brought them junk to tune.
Oh yeah, they fed me the BEST hotwings I have ever had!
See you guys later this month. Bring on the race gas. Now if I could only drive!

So it is not surprising to me when people post this and that went wrong when getting their cars modified. Stuff happens, but it is how that shop/company reacts to/fixes the problems that arise that makes them shine above the others. I think it is funny when shops try to act like everything always comes up roses and that there is never problems at their shop. This is the real world and real ish happens. Just my .02

Hahaha no. I got it from some guy that had NO IDEA how to use one. He had it in a 4 banger tarby charged fox body locally (Humboldt). He couldn't figure it out so he took it out and dropped and broke it uninstalling it
. I thought I could save a buck. By the time I send it back the Apexi and pay for the repairs I am $20 over what a new one would have cost with the new solenoid I had to buy. Oh well, I am done buying used. At least with performance parts....
