nah man im all for rescue dogs, but i just cant trust a rescue dog when you start talking about larger breeds known for hunting/fighting

I don't have a dog. Always thought having a lost dog would be cool because then you could talk about it, show pics and stuff but you would never have to walk it or pay vet bills. "Oh yeah I have a bull mastiff/poodle mix but he's lost..." Good times!

 

vet bills and such is way cheaper for a dog than a car =P

and registration is like $35 or something..

i cant complain about the money issue its not too bad (mutts rule)

 

Yeah, you just get weird looks riding a dog to work every day is all.

I can see why people like dogs (except the killer kinds that need special treatment or whatever, I have zero understanding of that) but they are not for me. There have been many that I have liked and had made me think about getting one when I am ready for the responsibility. If I had a little land where a dog could run around and the time to dedicate to making sure the dog were properly trained and had all the attention he needed then yeah, but it makes me sick how some people treat their animals in suburbia and don't realize that a dog is not simply a toy - they need care, love and attention as well.
