I'm an Impreza fan to the bone... But I always wanted a Forester that would spank an otherwise stock EVO on the freeway.

I was in your same dilema a few weeks ago.......both are sweet cars......


.......then I bought a used 04 STi....probably saved myself ~ $10K.


I dont know about you but I find it very unappealing to shell out ~ $33K and KNOW its going to depreciate the moment
you drive off the lot.

Its truly a terrible financial decision to buy brand new. If you must buy new, pick up the 08 STi. If you get the Forester you will be
kicking yourself in the *** later on down the road.....Ive read a lot of your posts and wasnt it your dream to have a wagon STi?? Well here is your shot!

....not to mention..... who doesnt enjoy abusing the 6 speed like a red headed step child ??? I know I do!!!! Cant do that with the 5-speed!!




If you want a conservative car get the Forester, if you want something to beat on (a real sports car) get the STi. Good luck with your decision.

im trying to get my brother to get a FSXT. it looks great with the front lip and wheels. he just recently purchased a home so money is tight, but i want him to get it so i can use and abuse it going to tahoe :RockOn - not mine:

Dood, i saw a blue forrester sports at SC Subaru yesterday...BBS wheels...STi front lip...with a drop would look ****EN SICK!!!!!!!!

 

I know that one! I was eye-balling it on Friday when I stopped before heading to MotoGP.
