Nah, peak power is < 6000 on that engine. It does taper off after that.

Tuned FXT graph for your viewing pleasure. Even tuned it tapers off pretty darn well. I don't know if this car has exhaust or not...

Wow! I'm really digging the looks of that wagon. I'm officially over the "ugly front grill". Especially in that color. That's dead sexy.

I'm actually somewhat impressed. That doesn't look so bad at all.

So what kind of 0-60 and 1/4 mile times can be expected from the new '06 WRX?

damn the subaru has really gotten that older person look

no longer do the crazy rally lines pop out and ****** our attention... everything seems too smooth and subtle.

weird enough i like it but the 02-03 body style still owns...

edgar,
+1

As far as wagons go....I like the 06 over the 04-05. Just don't like the front bumper on the 04-05's, never sat right with me. Sti's though....yeah 04-05 definately.

Want to test drive one bad, to see the difference in torque. My wagon makes 241WHP and 227 lbft torque....so want to see what the fuss on the 2.5 is about.

I've never had any issues with Stevens Creek. Bought my car there and they service my car too. But lots of people seem to have issues with them. I'll still give them my business as long as they continue to take care of me.

Nice seeingpics of the '06. I wish leather was an option on the '04 when I got mine. And love the 4-pot/2-pots. It's about time!

Ehhh, they kinda suck to be honest... they don't feel good, they don't brake better, they weigh a freaking ton, you can't put larger rotors under them because the caliper bracket is cast into the back half of the caliper, the rears aren't vented, blah blah... the '05 Legacy GT brakes are MUCH better brakes in every possible way!
