06/07 OEM Radio Issues

It in an 06 one in Tim's 03 and only the eject and volume controls work. Anyone experience this before? His factory 03 radio has no function loss. The fuses are good. The CD player takes discs and plays normally. Just cannot change tracks adjust settings or scan through the FM.

Car Info: a blue car.
When I bought my car, previous owner somehow did not secure the radio cable in the back of the unit and came loose on my return drive. After putting that cable back in when I reached home, my radio worked just fine the last time I had it in.

EDIT: Also FYI, 06 and 07 are very different units.

Well it's without aux so 06. I looked at all connections. Didn't see anything loose.

I have another one if you need it. Will sell it to you cheap, even though you didn't sell me those tire storage bags You can use it to test to see if the problem is that HU or not.

I dunno but it took me about 3 years to figure out if the 6 disc is jammed, the ****er still draws power when the car is off. Mystery draw and many batteries and a cutoff+ 3 electricians later I finally solved it. Also i came across a thread about it, the interesting thing is you can pull the fuse for the radio but the fuse that operate accessories on will still run the damn stereo and draw.

If your battery starts dying you know y
