I had the Falkens on my wifes car for the past 5 years so I know what to expect. I'm not too worried about the snow - I grew up in Colorado and any tire that is not a performance summer I'm fine with. I just want an all season that is reasonably priced, I'm also looking at other brands but know exactly what to expect on the Falkens.

I'm willing to listen to any good Snow tire recommendations, but have done plenty of searches and have good idea what is good. I'll make some Tahoe snowboard runs every couple weeks, so this will mainly be a dry/wet tire and ocassional snow.

Thanks for all the posts guys - currently waiting for SubyDude to get some more Torques in and will get them shortly...

Yeah, I was seriously checking those out (the P Zero Nero M&S), I may go that route as many people are very happy with them - I did see the ratings and they were pretty high.. They seem to be a better winter tire than the Falkens.

Thanks again-
Jason

I have Falken 512's as my summer tires (I use michelin alpin's in the winter) and I love them, great in the rain and dry, not a clue about snow though.

Ordered the tires (P Zero Nero M&S) as it seems like a better option than the Falkens for the winter - I don't need the old lady wrecking my new ride...

Thanks again all - I'll actually have to make it to one of the meets, just hate the feeling of rolling up in a stocker...Gotta add some mods first!
