*sigh*

well seeing as Im completely satisfied with my 20G setup on my STI, Ive decided to totally scrap it and start another power project
So in goes a new motor(number FOUR now) and new turbo(number SIX). This time though Im shooting for the ultimate pump gas/fast spooling setup, going to run a ported APS SR40, Perrin equal legnth headers, APS cast venturi up pipe and air-water intercooler.

Im starting to think I need a different hobby

any reason why you picked the perrin EQ length over the APS unit? Just thought you would go full APS, since you got the up pipe, and turbo

yeah the APS ones are basically the same design(JDM twin-scroll copies) but they extend the two seconday runners into their up-pipe, where as the Perrin ones put the merge right before the up-pipe so you can use any up-pipe you like and have less piping too, the APS headers are also another $3-400!

The APS cast up-pipe Im running incorporates a cast in venturi, a neat feature that you really cant do with a conventional tube up-pipe.

nice.

I am working on a smaller budget. I picked up a TD04 rebuild kit, and am buying a die grinder and bits, then porting the hell out of my IC, intake manifold, and turbo.

That and a hallman RX MBC for t3h uber spool on a 2.0L.

4 motors... Rookie... Haaa, Is this A/W IC a trial test item? How are you going to get the water to travel across the core efficiently? Even if you mount the inlet and outlet in opposite corners the fluid is still going to take the path of least resistance. There are going to be pockets of uncirculated fluids Have you looked into a shell and tube style heat exchanger?

Air takes the path of least resistance as well.
