I think there should be a parking lot class. Like if a few really bad *** cars show up that no one has seen. I have some friends coming up from LA, and I might bring my car out. Just walk the parking lot before lunch and ask 3 cars to move to the show area.

Also does this roll over demo car belong to the CHP? Are we going to be getting ticketed when we leave? This has weight if my car is driven in, trailer'd or I take the truck.

you wont be ticketed really in alameda unless you really break the law, the whole island is 25mph if you follow that and stop at the stop signs etc you will be fine. they didnt even bother to look at my car and my exhaust isnt that quiet

Well, it's not a "demo car" per se. Think the front clip of a car put on a rotisserie and rolled down the road.

Owned by my good friend Paul Eklund of Primitive Racing, coming in from Portland Oregon to support this cause, it's definitely NOT a CHP car. I'm not making a 100% iron-clad guarantee you won't be ticketed when you leave the event. I would say chances are very likely you'll have a great time, and not get hassled by the local police when you leave. I'm basing that on having met you before, and know you're not a teenage hooligan who will do donuts in the street, because the street looked empty.

Makes me feel better its not the CHP one. My car is very aggressive looking now. And well I worry that it would lead to a pull over and ticket if the hood was popped. Its only been street driven 1 mile since it was brought back into California. Hammy meets were good because I always went home the back way plus it was never a big deal back then.

My car sits in a trailer unless its on the track.

So I don't need any street racing events..

But it is still street legal. I have it back home from paint tomorrow night and will be putting it back together. Once that is done. I will make a build thread.
500+whp of Cosworth and Fullrace, 295 tires, fresh paint.. ahh can't wait till next weekend and Buttonwillow..
