They don't just do it to us though. They do it to other people in other cars. I was at a light with my wife in the car, there was a Mustang in front of me with light mods as the first car. Another Mustang (douchebag) comes from behind, pulls into the lane next to the other Mustang and then revs. Light turns and the douchebag Mustang that wanted to race is doing pulls and revving and trying to get the other Mustang to respond. This person just drives the speed limit and continues on their way in no particular hurry.
My wife asks me, what the hell was that about. I had to explain to her that the douchebag wanted to race the other guy and was trying to get him to race him by doing that stupid crap.

If you do mods that draw attention to you then you shouldn't be surprised when you get attention (bad or good).
Certain cars will always get more attention right out of the box, especially ones that have been featured in video games.
My Outback is lowered and turboed and has a wrx scoop on it. Nobody looks at me twice.

FXT here. I used to get revved on all the time in the WRX. Almost never in the Foz. Every once in a while I will stomp a fart can tC or Civic though, because the look on their face is priceless.

It's pretty funny when it happens and I just look over and laugh when someones trying to look hard and rev on a public road. I think every ethnicity is guilty of doing this, I notice its mainly high school kids who try to get fresh when I'm driving.

Its a San Jose thing. You could either ignore them or spank them. Depending on the road conditions, I choose to do the latter. I don't like to put anyone's life at risk that isn't me.

Yes, almost ALWAYS kids, or adults with kid level intelligence. These are also the wrong people to race too; since they're dumb enough to do it, they are likely an inexperienced or sh1ty driver who thinks they know what they're doing. It is not an ethnicity, it is definitely an age thing.

The San Jose thing is true too. I've had a handful of Hondas rev at me or my gf while driving her miata. All it has is a unicorn sticker on the side window. Lmfao.
