Unfortunately a lot of the newer systems come with vista on them, and you don't have any choice. So, once you go to install XP you run into the problem that no drivers for everything on that laptop were made for XP (usually). Finding drivers is fun. :scared2:

luckily if you call Dell, then you can still get XP on the laptop for the same price. Not sure about the other companies though.
