Yes, for the entire game, but this was a less than 30 second clip of the spanish broadcasters call on a play that had occured just before a time out. There was no action on the field at the time and no play was missed being called in English during the course of the game.

has more to do with the current state or our economy, the recent pc bias to excess with spanish and spanish speaking immigrants.

Are you an immigrant? I'm not. I was born here. Was someone in my family an immigrant.... sure. But do I only speak german and refuse to get involved with the country?

of course its marketing... I'm just saying I don't agree with it. And it has everything to do with me ordering a burger.

Sorry I disagree with you. Its called an opinion and clearly you hold a different opinion on immagration.

There's a difference between tolerance and bending over and giving away free admission.

What? That made zero sense. Its called catering to a large demographic of people in the united states that ESPN and the NFL are trying to market themselves too. What's the best way to do that? Maybe broadcast your games in Spanish? Seems like a good idea to me. If they want to speak Spanish in ther homes and communities that is the prerogative. Just like my grandma, who is an immigrant, speaks Czech or German her first and second language, to her cousins and family members, or for that matter any one she knows who speaks those languages, whenever she speaks with them. I dont see how catering to a huge demographic of people whose native language is Spanish, regardless of their ability to speak English, has any affect on you. If people want to speak Spanish in their homes that is their right, and if they want to watch American television in Spanish using the SAP button that is also their right. And if ESPN wants to show a 30 second clip during a timeout to let native spanish speakers they can watch the game in their first langugage I dont see a problem with that. You are confusing two issues.

makes perfect sense. The issue is one and the same.

If they really want to make money then all they need to do is sign a contract with a spanish channel to broadcast nfl games.

I don't expect telamundo to broadcast soccer in english. If I want to watch soccer and I can't find it on an english channel then I watch it in spanish with the sound turned off.

Fact of the matter... English channel. English broadcast.

Is that simple enough for you?

I really wanted to reach through my TV and strangle those morons. The only one who knew what the hell they were talking about is Jaws!! The rest of them can go suck a dick. Morons, if the Cowboys are the team that's going to the Super Bowl, well I'd say the Eagles are gonna be on their asses. Mind you, the Eagles were playing without their number 1 and number 2 receivers.

Oh and for the Spanish bull**** they pulled, whatever floats their boat. If any Spanish speaking people want to listen to the game, they should use the SAP button on their TV.

FM is all Spanish now because most "people" can afford XM or Sirius...

so my guesstimation is that in 10 years, when "people" that have money switch over to premium TV service, college students, english speaking farm workers... ... will have to press the SAP button to get to the english audio feed...if theyre lucky enough to have one haha.

i remember 98.5 and 92.3... the good ol days

SPEED has left us high and dry, everythings going down the toilet in regards to este topico
