Cops:

With all due respect, never met on I liked except for my criminal justice teacher. He was pretty laded back.

New cops try to "set the tone" and "lay down the law" to prove how tough they are.
But after all, they are people.....and people DO make mistakes.

If you read the OP's post, read the story in the newspaper, you'll see where I get my opinion. The cops are dealing with a shooting, no one knows where the shooter is, and for all the cops know, the suspect went into the club to escape.

Now, they're trying to secure the scene, weed out people as suspects, and this guy starts being a smart a**, telling them F*** you, etc. My first thought is this guy might be the perp trying to bluff his way outta there.

Just my .02

ok greg, lemme clarify.

i didnt actually say **** yall it was more of a figure of speech to introduce my telling them i wanted out.. i understood they were doing their job. but when we are in there for an hour plus. with people puking because they let off a tear gas bomb outside because of guys running away. it makes your patience run out.

i walked up to a bouncer told him my friend is throwing up because of the fog machine (soon found out it was tear gas) and so was my girlfriend and sister.. i started out by asking hey to the bouncer can i let my friend go over there hes really sick and we can't find any fresh air. and he immediatly verbally attacked me. about getting the **** away from him and to wait patiently like everyone else. well not every one was sick. my friend was (again my sister and gf too) were sitting on the dance floor with their backs against the wall where they were all sick and had just thrown up (sister and gf in the bathroom and my friend all over the floor) he said he didnt give a **** and to back up before he got the police involved. at that time i called my lawyer because i know he works late so i didnt feel bad and he said legally they cannot keep us in there unless they IIRC mark us as suspects in writing. but that was not the point. all i wanted was for my sis gf and friend to be able to get air. especially my friend because he was not doing good at all. and another bouncer walked up backing him up, and did the samething yelling at me, and i told him what my lawyer said and he said he didnt give a **** blah blah blah then i said i wouldnt walk away until he let my friend goto the side (where no exit was so theres no reason he shouldnt have let me bring my friend there) and thats when he got the cop, the cop immediatly attacked me verbally about listening to instruction and i was being nice because im not a mean person and said listen my friend just needs some air. please someone escort him over there if you dont want me there and just let him sit down over there. then the cop continued to tell me that was not going to happen and thats when i said well then fine, im just gonna leave until they show me that i have to stay legally. and i went to squeeze by and he hit me in the face it wasnt that hard maybe it was on accident. but ya know its the fact that i had a legitamate situation there and they refused to listen. at that point i said he had no right to hit me and he said he didnt and the other cop/bouncers said "i didnt see anything"

anyways. sorry about the long post. but i believe you needed the full details greg as when i re-read my first post it sounds the way you are reacting about it. like i was being a total dumb ***.
i don't believe i asked for anything above and beyond. the place was super hot. they didnt offer anyone water or anything. and there was thick amounts of tear gas seeping into the joint.

There are too many people in this area who can't go out and relax. That place hires a bunch of bouncers who look for and like to fight, they are not selective on who they let in, and they gave up patting people down after the first month they opened. I'm surprised they haven't been shut down by ABC yet after all the underage girls that "know" someone to be able to get in. It was only a matter of time before something happened there, part of why liquid lounge went downhill quickly. I haven't gone there since Halloween. and I know I don't plan on going there for awhile with the tension this whole situation created.

This sounds more like you have a legitimate beef.

Someone shoulda puked on the cop to prove your point.

Funny how the news article doesn't mention the tear gas attack. I'd let the news writer know about that one, IIWY.
