Dan, Yea, I am sorry for the hijack....no pun intended, that is very crappy that you keep getting the short end of the stick....so to speak....but I know how you feel, I have had experiences like yours with my truck.....not getting hit....but getting broken into. I feel your pain bro.

could it have been from some jackass throwing a ball, that hit your car......a few times? I have seen some big dents caused from basketballs or footballs hitting cars before. thats effed either way.

I was parked in front of nola's in palo alto from 11:30 pm until 1:30 am.... I was then parked in front of my friends place from 2:00 am until 4:30 am....
Most def a raised suv or rear tire.... I'm pissed, to say the least. unless someone was playing football in downtown palo alto in the middle of the night.... i'm guessin it's a car. I'm pretty cautious with my car. In the last week, my car has been parked on the street 8 hours.

I looked at my home and found that someone put a football-sized dent in my trunk and another hand-sized dent in the rear driver side fender!!! I need to get my dents pulled!!!!!! :-(

Maybe it was someone's hand -- and their football. Do you have kids that play on your street?

well, that's wrong.

i have taken a few friends with stock SUVs wheeling. granted, we have never gotten to that point where abandoning the vehicle is the last resort.

buddy system... plus i have everything needed to fully extract a vehicle...

just go ask ISH about the hour long extract our club did on new years day. of course we dont stuff like that everytime.

another story: an H1 got stuck rubicon (IIRC) late in the season and it started to snow. they broke major drivetrain pieces and they had to walk out. by the time they got back, a day or so, it was buried. they couldnt even get back in.

eventually, they waited until the next year when the snow finally melted to get the truck up and going.

the owner brought in tons of parts plus a hummer mechanic just to get it out... lol....
