This is simply amazing. Our electric bill is ~10/mo., and that's with two computers on 24/7, lights, two refrigerators, and the rest of the stuff that goes with the computers (speakers, external hard drives, etc.). How does one rack up a $100 bill in one month, unless your neighbor is plugged into your house while lighting his annual 10,000 bulb x-mas display??

I think you're holding out on us...

...turn off those hydroponic growing lights, and you'll save some energy.

That's true...

We live in a 1200 sq. ft. place, and the master bedroom and one spare bedroom are shut off and basically consume no energy.

Yeah if you shut off areas it helps some. I had a 3 br house before and never spent that much on electric.

I take it all your appliances are all electric? Our electric bill isn't so bad cus only thing that uses electric are whatever we plug in. If u haven't updated the light bulbs to the energy saving ones I would suggest to do so. Also never play the heat game of turning your heat up and down that really also make the bill go higher. Like my house I set it to 68 and leave it there and my bill stays pretty low during winter months.
