Vf34

I have a practicly stock STi and I am still wishing to maintain my warentee. This may be a dumb question but is there any way to get a real subaru vf34 turbo (instead if the IHI one) and if installed by subaru, be able to maintain warentee.

If not, is the vf34 even a good buy looing at power gains for that price. I also have enough for accessport too which is currently on my next mod list.

thanks

vf34 won't work well with the 2.5L, and I believe any turbo other than the turbo that comes with the engine will void your warranty. Accessport will void your warranty also if they find you have applied it to your car.

I'm not sure if unmarrying it to your ecu (re-installing the stock map) leaves any tracks of the AP, but yeah, if warranty is an issue...don't mod your car (=

I never said the dealer wouldn't just look randomly, cuz they most likely won't, but if they feel the car, and they suspect it, they can check
