bolt ons for rs' are easy to install and take out, you can also get it smogged without the turbo and then bolt it back on after it passes inspection

i heard that once u turbo a RS and then take it off, it wont run like it did before the turbo

Can i drive it turbo'ed inbetween smog checks ? what if got stopped ? smog checks are every 2 years right? correct me if I'm wrong please.
