Newbie supercharger question??

I am concidering buying a 00 2.5 rs recently and was thinking about my options. Previously all my cars were hondas but now i think its time to leave that scene
So heres the question do they make superchargers for 2.5's and if they do are they worth getting and were would i be able to get one or would i just be better off getting the turbo kit????

TIA

pretty much anybody that thought about making supercharger kit for the RS is either gone and have gone making turbo kit instead.

DNT has one on the way. Rimmer made one but they may be out of business. You can get a Ludespeed stage I kit for $2300 that gives the exact same powerband shape and the same reliability also.

im prob missing the obv but why are turbos soo much better for the 2.5 than superchargers? are they just a lot more efficient and do they have more potential for power or is it something else?

Under 5-6 psi of boost there are few differences in the performance of the car with either system. Turbos are just more common, and it's a lot easier to get more (meaning more power than initially after installed) out of a turbo system than a blower.

also correct me if im wrong but isnt a supercharger better for rally style racing and turbos are better for drag racing??

Also inst a supercharger much easier to install than a turbo and less harsh on the engine cause it controled by belts, as a turbo controled by exhaust?

It's all in the tuning. You can make either system behave any way you want. Same with the 'harshness.' Either one can blow a motor, and either one can work forever.
