I was sited to get my RS-T smogged!!!
To make the story short, the cop made me open my hood, took pictures, gave me some BS for the mods I have, and then a ticket to get my car smogged by the state refree. I'm guessing gonna have to get my car back into stock form completely and go see the state refree. Obviously, I'm pissed like hell. Did anyone go through a similar case? I just need whatever advices or tips to get me through this BS. For your info, I ran into this not so happy going cop in San Diego near Convoy, so if you are around this area, becareful.
I'm seriously considering to sell my Luedspeed 3 kit and everything that supports it, so if anyone is interested, drop me an e mail or ask me questions here. I have TOO many parts to list and I feel really tired right now to list them at this moment, but if there are enough interests, I'd post them later. I had the kit on my 00 2.5 RS for about year and half.
By the way, I posted a wanted ad in the stock parts section but I'll just in case poeple don't see it, I need stock GC8 (2.5 RS) intake manifold and an intake box that sits just behind the throttle to get my cr back into stock form. If anyone has those laying around, let me know.

If it is a California State referee ticket dont worry its not as bad as you think. When the courtesy notice comes in the mail you will notice there are 2 bail fees. One is a little more than the other that is under section A. The other is post bail and appear in court or something. If i were you id just pay it off and you dont have to see the referee at all. Thats what i did this week actually. I got busted new years eve and the cop took a picture of my engine bay also. So if you just pay the larger bail fee the case will be closed and no questions asked. See you just have to pay the pigs then they shut up. How many violations did you get marked down for? Its about 100 dollars a violation, and the violations with the astrix's (sp?) can be corrected and you will not have to pay the fee for that except for a processing fee of 10 bucks i think. Dont worry its not that bad just pay them off.

San Diego cops are really strick to modifiyed cars because of the street racing. Their mentality is modified car = street racer. They even set up check points to see if you have modified parts. What attracted the cop to pull you over, loud exhaust, bov?
