By the time you end up getting all the fancy stuff Jerry sells with the SZ it costs ALOTA money $$$.

A nice option would be the green with the 3" inlet...its costs less then $1400 I think or the FP RED...both these turbos hold power to redline better then the SZ49 or regular green.

At the end of the day the fastest cars run Rotated Mount Turbo setups....sometimes havin the fastest car isn't all its cracked up to be in many ways

I understand the fastest cars are using rotated mounts but that doesn't make them the "best". All depends on what The driver wants to do with the car. Both Def and mikaust were trapping almost identical speeds and had almost identical dyno numbers one with a green and the other with a SZ49. Yes the 3" inlet green is nice, but Jerry can also get the 8cm housing, anyway both are great Turbos and Jerry seems to be a standup guy and is over on NASIOC a good bit to help out with questions.

IMO you can't go wrong with either turbo

301HP/293TQ
VF34 w/supporting fuel system
TGV deletes (butter flies taken out still need to take the divider out)
QTP equal length header (it leaks @ the slip joints, need to fix it to get more torque)
STi IC (it's holding me back)
K&N panel+intake silencer delete
B&B 3inch down pipe + Borla hushback (need to fix the ghey borla flange)
Vishnu Underdrive pulley
SMC alcohol injection system
I-speed Ecutek reflash
I put down 295/302tq on a mustang dyno in KC. That was running pig rich too(10.8:1AFR). And i couldn't up the boost values anymore in the UTEC because they were at 500 haha. Trust me, I know how to use the UTEC.
This was done on a mix of 110 and 92. I have a Perrin TMIC, vf34, STi pinks, helix up/dp, blitz nur spec catback, walbro pump, and TXS UTEC
Really the 280-290WHP is pretty much the limit for the 34, 22 has an easier time getting to 300WHP. There are many turbo options for upper 200s to 300s, TD05, VF39, VF22, VF30, VF34, 1820, EJ5-40T, etc. Not really sure what the 1818 is good for, but you also shouldn't get too caught up over peak numbers. The shape and size of the curve is what matters, I'd rather have a car make 10-20 less peak HP but have more in other parts, i.e. down low or holding power longer up top. It's hard to compare many turbos because of varying environments and dynos that don't read the same. You also need to look st what gas was used for these tunes, the first one is using alcohol injection and the other used 110/92 mix. Alcohol/water injection allows for more aggressive timing to be used.

Where do you live and what type of gas to do you use?
