Forced performance upgrade

I have an 04' wrx and im looking to add a forced performance green turbo. My problem is stock the turbo boots at 15psi which worry's me whether or not my engine could handle this turbo. I was thinking i could bore my engine and add stronger internals but i just dont have all the information i need. I would like to know what modifications i should make to the engine if i want to have the boost around 18psi. thanks.

injectors- engine manegment and those two things and your car will be fine at 18 psi and then some you dont even need to think about dipping in to your motor to run 18psi

Most 2.0s don't run the FP Green because of lag issues with the smaller displacement. I would recomend going with a VF34 or a VF39. Countless WRXs are running these turbos with great results. You will still put 18 psi into the engine and not have the lag of a Green.

When would a green reach boost on the 2.0? 4500? 5000?

IMO anything past 4000rpms is too laggy for daily driving

You will definitly not hit full boost until 4300 minimum.

Ill be honest... I personally havn't seen a green on the 2.0 WRXs. The turbo has the capacity to flow enough air to produce 360 whp in a 2.5 L which is way more than a WRX can handle in its tranny over a long period of time. I would suggest going with something that is tried and true (VF 34 or VF 39) way cheaper and will produce better power/driveability results.
