i recently put a blitz fmix on my 2002 wrx. it some how made my boost gauge read 15-16psi. but it doesnt hold at 15-16psi. at about 4000rpms it drops down to 10psi until about 4500rpms. it does it in every gear. i hear my turbo spool up an then drop. i cannot figure out why. my setup is fmic, intake, port polish turbo. down pipe, 3 in exhaust, pulleys. i have shiv's stage zero(not installed yet). i would like some advice/opinions on why its doing that/ how to fix it. my car pulls really hard when at 15psi.

 

ive got a vf34 that likes to do that from 3rd gear and on....i got the legs in 1st n 2nd, and then from then it will haves similar symptoms to yours. ive spoke to a local mechanic, he said the wastegate is prolly being blown open or the stock boost contoller is malfunctioning....i just started to notice these probs...havnt got the time to fix it tho....anyone else with input...please help

 

Sounds like you need more boost fluid...

your mechanic may be right about the wastegate, mayhap the increased or decreased volume of the fmic is messing wtih the way it actuates??
just my two cents..
and get some more boost fluid too that couldnt hurt..
