I have a 98 2.5 rs, I was wondering if any one has used a avo 2.5 turbo kit on there car and is it a good product to buy

 

I was thinking about turbo'n my RS........From what i gather, the AVO kit is by far,the best bolt on turbo kit for the 2.5RS......

 

since i have an automatic, will i have to do a tranny swap for when i get the turbo or is auto alright?

 

I have seen Turbo automatic GC8's before. (Don't know how long the tranny's gonna last....)

 

i put the avo kit on my 99 rs about 4 months ago and i am very happy with it. having an auto tranny won't matter on the install, but i don't know how it will hold up with all the power. i'm having a new clutch installed in mine on tuesday.
