Exept, you kind of have to deal with the electronic throttle... Either use like a WRX throttle body, or something else to make it easier. Everything else should be ~ like a WRX swap...

BTW, people are selling the STI shortblocks now, so thats an option too if you can find say some WRX heads and make a custom-like engine for even mo powa!

STi ecu and harness solves all the hard problems, like AVCS and drive-by-wire.

Doesnt solve the physical difference in pedals.

Oh yeah. I wonder if using the XT ECU to control the AVCS would be a problem if you used a WRX throttle body? I would prefer not to use the drive-by-wire since we don't get computer-controlled rev matches on downshifts or anything like that.
