I installed these tires last fall and I've been very happy with them on the street. As reported in the review I find the noise level is very low. They are very predictable in both wet and dry and stick excellently in both conditions.

I am however having problems on the track with them. The tire roll on the outside front tire is significant. I ended up rotating the tires after each 25 minute session to minimize the effect on each tire. I'm hoping that I'll prove that the problem was in my car's set up and not the tire and will report back after April 4th when I visit Thunderhill next.

size used: 245/40-17 on 17x8 wheel
car: 2003 WRX wagon
mods:
--tokico D-spec struts, tanabe GF springs
--tein front camber plates
--whiteline F/R anti-sway bars
--camber was set to -2.75 front, but was discovered recently to have have slipped to ~-1.75 and I'm not sure if that happened before/during that track day
--toe, caster: I don't recall
--air pressure was around 35 cold, but I don't recall what it was hot

Have you tried playing around with air pressures? Also 1.75 of negative camber in front would probably be on reason for the tire roll. I have 2.25 on the STI and I haven't had too much roll. I just played with tire pressures to get a good balance.

I plan to focus more on tire pressure this next time out. What kind of hot pressures were you using? I will definitely monitor the camber as well...

Actually it depends on ride height, camber, track temps, etc. On the track I ran I went with 40psi front and rear. I basically chalked the outer edge of the tire and started playing with pressures to make sure I didn't roll the tire, but used as much of the tire as I could. The end result was 40psi.
