Tell for how long you've had an upgraded turbo, if at all.

With all stock powerplant, my stock WRX clutch lasted to 103,000 and probably still had a couple thou left, but propbably not much more.
And I have to admit that there was a lot of highway miles in that 103,000, I could see city driving, (esp in SF) might shorten that life dramatically
But I can't say I babied it really either, I for sure burned it to where it stunk up the car probably a couple dozen times over its working life

actually i almost killed myself and a friend the other day on Park Presido (in the park twisties) because the slipping clutch caught when I didn't expect it. I drifted all the way from the first big right all the way to the 2nd turn. I was pleased, actually, with how well I handled the extra long drift... it wasn't pretty for sure, but I didn't overreact or get nervous and kept the car from slamming into the wall or going off the road. Since then, I've decided to nix the, uh, spirited driving until I get the clutch fixed.

lol watch out for park police
my clutch went just before 20000 miles, but it was the original clutch that had severe clutch judder and eventually the car wouldn't accelerate in a couple gears. TSB fixed it and the new clutch feels good, it's been over 6000 miles with on shudder.

im still on stock clutch. basically had turboback, engine management, etc.. from 4k-17k. VF30+Fmic from 17k-25k. Thought it felt like the clutch was slipping a tiny bit in 2nd gear when going wot last month but now my tranny/clutch feels perfect.
