I have Comcast internet, I get 16Mbps down and 3Mbps up For $19 a month
My upload speed is as fast as ATT/Uverse's "Pro" package download.
I did have ATT and I switched after I found out that deal with Comcast.
I would switch to Uverse on their TV, but I dont think 5 TVs, let alone more than 2, show HD content at the same time. Big let down there.
So if you live in a household with roomates and everyone has an HDTV and want HD content, dont think Uverse is for you. Unless something has changed since then.
I thought about this thread last night while laying in bed... I pay around $100 for comcast internet and cable each month which is a lot of money considering we only use one TV (but we use it a lot). We have the DVR box that does all the same stuff that yours does, but how much cheaper is it per month WITHOUT the discount so I know what to expect after a few months of service.
I just got Uverse 2 months ago. The only problem I have is with the motorola box. It forgets the tv aspect ratio once a week and resets it from 16:9 1080i to 4:3 480. It also forgets where I am in the guide every once in awhile also. Like i'll be on channel 1004 for example and hit guide and it will show up on channel 2, making me scroll all the way back again. Its pretty annoying. The service itself has been good so far.

Hey matt do you know when they will come out with a multi box system, I've already looked into it for my parents but my mom has like 60+ shows on her tivo already then you got all my dads **** so there will be conflict issues. do you know if there Is a way to have it setup like Direct TV where every room gets a box and can record how ever many shows you wants so long as you have enough cables coming in?
My dad already said he would switch over to Uverse IF he could have a multi box system where he wont have to deal with the conflict issues. lmk very interested here
can you fix my gf's uverse remotes? the jump button stopped working on a replacement box after a month or two and now the volume crapped out. WTF motorola?!?!?!?
As some of you guys know I'm a Uverse manager for the Bay Area. My boss just gave me 20 $250 visa gift cars to get my friends and family to sign up over the holiday season. I'm not going to push this on anyone on I-club but $250 is a great was to help with the holiday season out and you get a great TV/Internet service also. If you don't want the visa gift card I work something else out.....
please call me at 650-906-3594 or PM me if you have any questons, and the Uverse TV/Internet service is not in every city. If you want me to check if it is at your house just call me.
TV/Internet can start as low as $74 a month and go with NO contract
