tunning suggestions 08 sti

imo, the cobb ap is the best electric tuner. ots maps are free from their website. down side is that their maps require name brand specific intakes. find out what your goals are as far as power and type of driving you want to do cause doing your suspension first may be better for you. I got my ap first along with a txs catted dp, aem intake, and spt exhaust. ended up getting a GSEBCS and a DW65C then got it protuned cause I didn't think I wanted to do anything else. without question, a protune is what is recommended above all cause every car runs different. I wish I would have waited till I got a PW TMIC and bigger inj before protune, but it is what it is. If you don't plan on doing much, go with AP, they have good resale value so selling it will cover majority of your protune choose you decide to get one. There are tuners from all over the place that come down to rads every so often to tune so if you plan ahead of time, you can jump into one of those sessions. I will be trying to get a group of no less then 10 guys together during summer time to get Ed from EQ Tuning to come down from cali, but wont call Ed or Rads to organize anything till I get the list full. talk to the guys around here, all of the tuners that come down have their own websites.
