NEED ADVICE: Turbo Flutter
Now first off, i know this is the wrong forum for this, but everyone looks here and I need a little help..... so when I get on the gas in my car, I get this fluttering noise from my turbo? Is that the wastgate? I would think so since it happens when I get on the gas, If it was when I get off the gas i would presume its from the BPV. So, basically what happens is my turbo flutters while under vacum until it hits 0, which is right when boost comes in. Its kind of a flutter click noise and is trippin me out. I have a clean *** vf37 with a great gst tune and all of a sudden one night this happens, and has not stopped since. It's been about a week now. Any suggestions guys?
thanks, chris

This is closer to the correct place than the classifieds. easy things to check..
Usually flutter is related to wastegate flutter. Are you internal or external wastegate?
It could be as simple as a boost leak under load. Make sure that the IC connections are tight. They can get loose over time as they are usually held together with a single 10mm flat head screw. Make sure your inlet is secured and is solid. Sometimes your inlet can flex.
