oil in fmic
i took some of my fmic pipes off becuase on the intake side of the turbo, the clamp cut into the rubber. i saw oil in the fmic pipe an dont have any idea how it happened. my car still runs fine, but the cel came on. so i have my car in pieces an dont have any idea how to fix it. any help would be great.
it's a turbo car bro, everyone on here has oil in their intercooler whether it's fmic or tmic. The metal pipe that mounts onto the stock tmic takes oil from the heads and re-directs it into the turbo inlet pipe, get's sucked into the turbo and blows it all over your intercooler piping. if it's a substantial amount that usually denotes turbo failure, but if your car is running right, it's just a normal thing.
you'll see a significant amount if you run your car pretty hard. when i replaced my i/c hoses i noticed it also all over my i/c, my mechanic recommended me to get an oil catch can to help with this.
