HKS normally makes good turbo upgrades, but their Subaru parts suck ***. Worst downpipe on the market.

a down pipe is a down pipe... it was made for budget spenders, hence the cheap price and most likely cheap materials used to construct it. A turbo is a different story, i wouldnt jump to conclusions w/o someones first hand opinion on it ..

You obviously haven't taken a good look at HKS' downpipe compared to a quality one. HKS made theirs strictly on cost of production with absolutely no attention to results. It's hands-down the WORST downpipe on the market for Subarus.

Possibly, but don't you think their turbokit would include their own downpipe?

well HKS makes two different downpipes. the one that comes with their turbo kit is bellmouth, the one they sell seperately is for budget and is a piece. and i have it in my car =[.
