^^^

So, are you going to base your decision from opinions? I think I'd leave the decision making to you. But modability, WRX has more support since it is a part of tuner crowd.

Good luck on your decisions!

Take it from me, a legacy owner. Get the legacy.

And I'd say make your car look like this:

Legacy - More comfortable, more room, nicer interior and comes with a less powerful version of the STi's engine (2.5 Liter which means less turbo lag). Also, not that many people have it so you'll be different.

WRX - More agile, compact size, lighter and more aftermarket parts. However, the WRX has more lag because of a smaller 2.0 liter engine and attracts more racers to mess with you.

I'd rock the Legacy because I think of it as a gradual evolution in my car needs...it's a more mature version of the WRX.

I'd say the Legacy, but I'm biased. I will admit that it is harder to mod the LGT right now because of a small (but growing) aftermarket community. It should be easier to mod as the years go by.

don't go with the easy way. get the legacy, and stand out with hard to get parts...
go with exclusivity. from driving the 2, i must say that the rear end on the legacy feels better on turns. tends to oversteer more than the wrx. thats enough for me.
plus the legacy = style
