Twin scroll Turbo Charger

Hey guys I'm In the market for a turbo for my 04 WRX . I'm done with the brakes and suspension set up, now I'm looking for a quick boosting turbo. Oh buy the way the rex is being built for auto x . I'm looking at three options right now. One is the FP Green turbo, next is the GPM GT32 twin scroll and last is the IHI 37 twin scroll conversion . What I'm looking for is very little lag. Don't care about top end loses. Also looking at the PE1818. Really like the twin scroll idea, let me know what your thinking. Thanks in advance.

For autocrossing, definitely go with the VF37 conversion. The Green and GT32 are both far bigger than the VF37, and will have significant lag for Solo 2. Remember also that changing your turbo puts you into Street Mod, where it's difficult to be competitive without spending oodles of cash.

Power Enterprise also makes a 1825 which is a twin scroll turbo but is really pricey. In fact the twin scroll conversion itself is pricey. Besides having to change the up-pipe, header and crossbeam i believe you also need to go to a different oil filter and oil pan. Forgot where I read that on another website. You might want to look into a company called deadbolt who can do a monster port and polish on your stock turbo and increase turbo boost performace. It would also allow you avoid being in street class like BANSUVS' noted, thats saying unless you want to be their. SCCA wont ever know about a port and polish
