Wnat to get rid of my stock RE-92's but is now a good time?
As everyone here knows; the stock RE92's on the 2005 WRX suck. I am going to mak e the switch to some Yokohama ES100's very soon. My only problem is that I will have to put my new tires on the stock 16" rims that I will be changing in four months to some 17" Volk TE-37's. Will the same tires fit both rim sizes so I can simply swap the tires when I get the new rims?
Well you're probably still in the break in period anyways, so the RE92's will discourage any excessive driving 
If you were somewhere where there was snow I'd say get snows and use the stockers as winter wheels, but that doesn't really apply here. Just wait until you get the new wheels to do the tires, unless you're independently wealthy and have nothing better to spend $250 - $400 on . . .
