and that would be due to :
1. AWD>RWD .. Meaning that the reason everyone purchased a subaru was for the AWD whereas they could ahve gone with a different manufacturer...
2. I dont think anyone wouold trade a 2002 + car for that of a early 90's car..
All I can say is good luck and hope you find someone that is willing to take you up on your offer.

Not to say your car is not worth the effort or anything.. I mean it is a true enthusiasts type of vehicle.. from its 2 seater v6 Twin Turbo 3.0L engine to it's HICAS system which to me was a feature that was ahead of its time maybe too ahead that it didnt catch on.. to some extent of course...

i think your best bet is going to be selling your car to a private seller then buying a wrx. he was going to give you $8,500 and his '03 WRX for your 300zx. that would have been a great deal for you if i am reading that right

well basically he wanted my car plus $6500, he said my car was only worth 8500, but he wanted it becuase he knew some people that he could turn around and sell it to, I wish i got a wrx and 8500 for my car..lol, even 10k and an old e30 bmw would be okay in my book.

Honestly, I think you should have taken the 03 wrx. If that guy was giving your car a value of 8500, you had it good. KBB puts your car at 7k for excelent quality, which im sure it's not. My GF has a 92 300zx and she paid like 5k for it. Good luck.
