Got a question for everybody. I know this may sound stupid, but I just wanna be sure about something. The bolt that connects the front end link to the control arm is supposed to be completely tight right? The reason I ask is that my left side one isn't. I had my car into the dealership to get the clutch and flywheel replaced under warranty about 500 miles ago. When I got the car back, I noticed a slight clunking sound in the left front suspension when going over rough surfaces. I thought it had to do with my STi Ver. 7 struts and springs and that they were going bad or were just noisy. Either way, it didn't happen all the time and I decided to let it go until it got worse. Well, last night a buddy of mine suggested that maybe it had to do with my control arm. So today, while washing my car, I took a look. Low and behold the bolt holding the end link to the control arm was loose. The nut on the end was threaded out about half an inch. I tried to tighten it, but it just spun. I think I need to get on the other side of it, so I need to get it up on a lift. By the way, I have never messed with my front end links, control arms, or sway bar. I think Subaru focked me.

If all the parts up their are oem then take it to the dealership.

No way! I'm fairly certain that they're the fockers that loosened it in the first place. I tightened it up now and everything's gravy.
