Has anyone tried the 4EAT rear spings on a 5 speed WRX?

The WRX with automatic transmission uses stiffer rear springs than the manual transmission cars.(132 lb/ft (manual) vs 144 lb/ft(automatic) for the wagon). Has anyone tried using the rear springs from an automatic transmission in a 5 speed? I want to keep the ride nice for my wife and still get a little sharper handling.
