6th Annual West Coast Subaru Meet, August 28-29th Hood River, OR

It's that time again!
Saturday will feature a car show and shine, RC car races, a stereo competiton, and a mud bog run from the local Subaru Brat Club. Saturday night spaghetti
cook-off sponsored by Subaru Western Region and the legendary camp chef:
"Hobie Hobart" Rumor has it there will be a raffle, karaoke, vendor booths
(like Rallitek) music and more (last rumor about live music has not been
confirmed).

Sunday is the RallyX at the Hood River County Fairgrounds. Nice field,
great place to have a RallyCross. It will be put on by the Oregon Rally
Group as an SCCA RallyCross. If you have never put your Subie through a
sweeping turn under full throttle, sliding the rear end, and spitting dirt,
here's your chance to do it safely and for cheap. There are classes for all
types, models and modifications of Subies and other makes. Have some fun
and drive like Colin McRae for an afternoon.

Camping allowed on site at the fairgrounds for a small fee. Plan a road
trip to quaint and scenic Odell, Oregon for this laid-back event. Subaru
owners and wannabe's all welcome.

for easy driving directions. Take the gorge (I-84 to Hood River) or the
scenic route over Mt. Hood to Highway 35 into Odell. Don't forget it is
fresh fruit season -stop and try the peaches!
