Subaru $3,000 discount card on new cars

Subaru $3,000 discount card on new cars

I don't know if any of you guys received this card through the mail, but it's suppose to automatically discount $3,000 off any Subaru (including the STI). I was wondering if any of you have purchased an STI using the discount. It's directly from SOA concerning current/past Subaru customers.

Is it possible to stick them with the card after haggling the dealership down to invoice on a brand new STI?

Say I haggled them down to $29,000 and BAM! I stick them with discount card, making it $26,000. LOL!

if you read shyong's post he is asking if anyone has seen it. if it does exist I'll be its 3k off MSRP. not bargaining price! i havent heard of such a card so I dont really believe it exists anyways.

It does exsist. My wife got it couple months ago directly through mail from Subaru. It's not some card that a local dealership sent either. I'll try to take a picture of the document(s) when I get the chance.

it's not $3000, but I recently received a $250 Owner Loyalty Bonus Coupon from Subaru of America. the coupon is valid from 03/02/04 till 04/30/04

i'm not sure how it is with dealerships on the mainland but where i am we are pretty straightforward. when you mention "stick" do mean "hiding" or being dishonest with them? i hate to be a sore thumb in here but i sell cars and it's my career not some "bluffing" game. my customers get everything upfront from me and i'd like to expect the same of them.
