It would be a great idea to have a section where all members can find basic specs of the discussed models. This can also permit many of us to learn more about Subarus.

Example:
- Year (period)
- Engine size, basic specs (hp, tq, cc, cam(s), etc.)
- Exhaust diameter
- Vehicle dimensions and weight
- Tires, brakes, supsension specs
- Transmission

Actually, what would really be nice is a table where major components of the models are listed and shows whether they can be swapped into other models. This would show us the potential and possibilities that we (i.e. "me") are eager to learn about. However, I believe this may be a huge task, yet one which will be of great use for many members.

I agree. I bought my scooby in June and don't know many of the terms you guys are using GF8, GDB, GDA ect. I know in the FAQ what it stands for but don't know which one my car is 2002 OBS. I see they define GF8 as old school, how old is that?
